Aim
Overall aim of CDRW is to empower the voiceless, powerless vulnerable people to live in honour and dignity to achieve their self- reliance.
Objectives
- To develop the poor and marginalized, down trodden on par with developed community.
- To improve the quality of the life through their participation in health and development.
- To empower the marginalized and poor people for their self- reliance and sustainable development.
- To promote communal harmony, co-operation and awareness among various sections of the society.
- To enhance the educational, social, economic and health status of the under privileged.
- To promote the welfare and development of slum dwellers, widows, aged, working children, tribal people, Dalits and other marginalized groups.
- To develop organic cultivation and form eco – friendly societies.
- To provide health education for the prevention of communicable and non – communicable diseases
- To work with Government, educational institutions, Banks, financial institutions, national and international non- profit making voluntary organizations and Networking for the improvement of quality of the life of the poor and marginalized in a holistic form.
- To enhance the community participation of the poor and marginalized in a holistic way.
- To enhance the community participation of the voiceless poor and strengthen their voices through advocacy, lobbying.
- To organize need based skill training for the employability of under privileged youth.
Structure of CDRW
CDRW is gifted with a committed team of the General Body, an Executive Committee, Staff and Volunteers. The General Body consists of 21 members, the Executive Committee consists of 7 members, 2 full time staff and 25 volunteers to work at the village level. They meet periodically to review and plan the future course of action.
